Warm mineral water. A canopy of green. Time to do absolutely nothing. For us, Tha Pai Hot Springs is one of the loveliest places around Pai to slow down and settle into the forest’s rhythm.
And the best part? It’s about a 20-minute walk from Bungalows & Bunks. Wake beneath your bamboo roof, wander over for a soak in the designated bathing pools, then come home with the rest of the day still yours.
If hot springs are your kind of holiday, make this your little base: open-air bamboo bungalows, affordable bunk beds and an unhurried corner of Tha Pai.
Walking time is our local estimate. Ask us for the route and current visiting details; attraction admission is separate. The hot source pictured is for viewing—bathe only in designated pools.
When the afternoon turns golden, Pai Canyon’s sculpted ridges and wide mountain views give you a very good reason to put your phone away—after one last photograph.
Make time for a canyon afternoon, then return to your bamboo bed at Oasis. We recommend arranging transport to Pai Canyon’s public entrance: the road route follows a busy highway with no footpath.
The owner reports a Google Maps walking estimate of about 38 minutes, but we do not recommend walking this highway route. Plan transport for both directions. At the canyon, wear shoes with grip and take care around steep drops.
